HEY!! Rhino Dudes/Dudettes
I'm looking to buy one but haven't yet decided whether to spend the extra and get the 660 or to go the the 450. I haven't heard much on the 450 so I'm looking for some input.
I've also read about the 660's using oil pretty badly. I mainly will use mine for exploring and sand dunes. I don't particularly ride hard but have a little racing blood in me and like to bring it on once in a while. I've read the 450/660 comparison in one of the quad magazines and as you would expect there are differences but not so much.
I currently cruise the dunes and trail on my '03 Honda Rancher 4x4 and don't have any complaints for the money.
I'd like to hear from some 450 owners especially.
Thanks
Batman

I've got a 450 and love it - but I ride trails in the Ozarks and have no idea of how it would do in sand. Most people who ride the dunes seem to think the 660 is marginal at best, so I doubt that you'd be happy with a 450. Also, most of the people who write about Glamis, etc. put on wheel spacers or whatever to make the wheel track wider for stability reasons. This won't work on the trails that I ride, they're already too narrow for Prowlers and such. Bet you'll be happiest with a 660.
