I took my rhino out for the first time and at one point it wouldnt rev up, it would start and idle but basically died and belched out black smoke until I removed the air intake cover, then it ran fine. even after i reinstalled the lid it kept running and never did it again. could that intake snorkle have sucked itself to the inside of the airbox lid? or could it be something else?

 

Where was you arm. I have had stuff get infront of the intake and kill mine. Plastic bags are the worst.

 

it wasn't that, but oddly enought that did happen to me last weekend with a damp paper towel. I am convinced that somehow that snorkle sucked up on the cover the one time, but it hasnt happened again since that day so no biggy.
