Default Looking for some recommendations on stereo speakers for my Ranger

I just bought a 2007 Ranger 500 EFI, my wife got me a marine stereo for Christmas, does anyone have any suggestions on speakers? I don't want them to stick above the roof and risk getting knocked off. Thanks SO much for any recommendations!!!

Polaris offers some kick panel enclosures (2876180 $100) that you can mount any 6.5" marine speakers into. I installed some Kenwood speakers in mine and put the deck in the dash below the steering wheel. Polaris also offers the Kicker speakers (2876179 $70)

i have seen people use the cup holders, cut out of course, as a place to put speakers. make sure you at least have the poly speakers, or marine speakers, as it will be very easy to get water and dirt in/on them...

good luck

we put a cd player in my buddies 2004 ranger in the glove compartment and then put two 10 inch kick speakers in the box with built in tweeters and an amp hooked up to them. it seemed to work pretty good but we did get the cd player wet and it got fried of corse but that was our fault. i told him after we put the cab on to make a couple speaker boxes up in the roll cabe in the back corners. then you could have say 6 1/2 inch speakers at head level so it doesn't have to blare just to hear it. i know as soon as i get my prowler i am gonna be hooking a system up in that but gotta get it first
