Rhino or Ranger XP to buy or not to buy

Dawg, your typical career military, you think you know it all.I supported Viet Nam, I wan't support Iraq any more. We don't have the troop strength to maintain the peace, and they know it (insurgents)We simply don't have the man power in country. We are bogged down fighting a war that should have never taken place.BTW "troops" could mean boy scouts...huh!? I beg to differ about conscripts,I guess Marine conscripts in WW2 were not as good as you guys today, well tell that to the Greek mother who lived down the street that lost her son in action on Tarawa.I saw first hand some mighty good soldiers that were conscripts in 'Nam especially during the "Tet" offensive 1968....yes,we had foul ups like every where else, but don't tell me a kid in uniform doesn't have the same life to give as a regular....Under the present situation in Iraq, its un winable with ou t more toops on the ground. And can't be one unless we re establish the select service.....If you have been in the Corp for 24 years, you should know your to old to fight in the desert......so is our National Guard...

My stepfather-in-law recently bought a 500cc Ranger. He told me he tested all of the side by sides and the Polaris side by sides and like night and day difference compared to all the others.....much better ride. I drove his 500 and the ride quality is dramatically better compared to his last side by side....a 450 mule (Kawisaki). Quite a bit faster too. My $.02.

Dawg...I'm retired USAF and sometimes people do use the word 'troops' for something other than the military. You served 24 years defending their right to do so. Thank you for your 24 years by the way.
I happen to work for the AF as a GS type civilian and work with several of the young people you were talking about. They are pretty smart but I don't know any of them that have any desire to go to Iraq. Most just want to make a living for their families and LIVE. It's a pretty scary time for them.
About the brand loyalty...I guess that if I worked for Polaris I'd have to ride their product. I've never cared too much for Polaris but that RZR is looking really good. I have just a plain Jane Rhino and the only option it has is a molded plastic sun shade. I like it but would rather have been able to buy American.

I was told yesterday that there are 4 RZRs here in South Carolina right now and they will be at Carolina Adventure World ATV park on April 1st for a customer appreciation day. I really want to go check one out. I am not a Polaris fan at all after the nightmare we had with the 600 Sportsman but that RZR really has my attention.

I think they will be a hit, theres alot of internet buzz on the rzr it seems. If I remember right there under a thousand pounds and will be capable of 65 mph with simple factory mods, over the 55 mph stock. I wouldnt mind taking a test drive myself. How did this thread go from a guy wanting to buy a utv, then loyalty, then military, and now the rzr

pwillie - you are wrong everytime you open your mouth or type a sentence. You are clearly as ignorant as your part of the world is reputed to be. I cannot educate the unable. I?m done with you.
Cat driver ? that?s why they joined the AF and not the Marines.

Most Marines I know would never put down a fellow soldier, whether a reg. or draftee! You seem very unhappy with your self. You didn't get other stripe? Maybe because of an attitude towards others.I met some top notch Marines in Viet Nam,and the same for conscripts.Check out the wall in D.C. their all on that wall. You need to retire, your over it,done!I will thank you for your tour! But now the farm calls.....

Cat Driver,I think our friend Dee DAwg is frustrated, that his career is about over.A lot of lifers get upset if they don't make rank! I have several friends that didn't get the stripe are the oak leaf....and it deflates their egos tremendously. They tend to take it out on others.
