Rhino is backfiring!
#1
I have a 2007 660 Rhino. I put an aftermarket billet exhaust tip on the exhaust. The only difference between stock and the billet tip is increase from approx. 1? to 1.5? opening, and the billet tip is straight.
Ever since changing the exhaust tip, the Rhino backfires when I let off the gas.
The motor and carburetion is bone stock. I have a BRP CDI but I had that with no issue before the tip change.
Can anyone provide info on what the issue might be?
Thanks a million!!!

How many miles on it ?
I have a group of friends that we ride with that have Rhinos. - ( 6 in our group ). Last summer 2 of them had the same trouble on the trip we took. Problem was dirty fuel filter & loose grit in the fuel tank. When filling up the Rhino it is easy for mud, dirt, grit to fall into the tank when you take the filler cap off.
Take the tank out, clean it thoroughly, change the fuel filter too. This solved their backfiring issues.
