Rhino 450 vs. 660
I am looking at getting an 07 Rhino in the next few weeks, and rigt now I am just looking at dealers in the Ohio, KY, IN area, and what they will give me trade in on my BMW RT1100 Bike, anyways, I am trying to decide between the 450 and the 660.
The use will be for recreation, light hauling, but mostly hauling 2 people and 1 dog around for search and rescue operations, and getting point A to point B. I am leaning towards the 450 because this is coming out of my pocket, then getting donated to a SAR Team.
My question is will the 450 do, or will I regret it and wish I had spend the extra for a 660?
Also why is there always 15-20 660's on ebay, but hardly ever a 450 used??
Thanks.

Rhino 450 vs. 660
I have a 660 Rhino and a friend has the 450 Rhino. In my opinion the 660 is the way to go. The 660 has more power, torque, and brute strength than the 450. If I was depending on the Rhino for search and rescue, I would most certainly spend a little extra on the 660. As for the recreation use, either the 450 or 660 will get the job done. As for hauling, I prefer the 660. But that is just my opinion. My local dealership here in northen West Virginia says the 450 is to small for the size of the machine,( that is their opinion). The dealership also says they have a hard time keeping the Rhino 660 in stock, but they always have a 450.

Rhino 450 vs. 660
My dad an I recently went shopping for an 07 rhino and ended up getting the 450. After riding both the 450 and 660 we both agreed the 660 was not worth the exta cost for what we needed one for. Sure the 660 had way more power but there's one more thing to consider. The 450 is geared lower than the 660 and its very obvious when you go from one to the other. The guy at the dealer said some of the mudders prefer the 450 because it spins the tires easier than the 660. We do a lot of slow, technical riding and it actually is very good at it. Just something else to confuse you.
