Default 06 rhino backfiring

Hey guys my buddy has a 06 rhino and it is bone stock. It has itp terracross. The motor is stock. My buddy was riding it and he fliped over. He got back in it and there was a backfiring noise to it. So yesterday we were riding and if you go to fast it backfires and stalls out. I start it back up and the proccess starts over and does the same over again.

Please Help

I have a 2004 Rhino and have experienced back-fireing. I happened when I hit real ruff stuff. I found out that in-line fuel filter needed replacement. I 'm assuming that dirt in the filter would block the gas flow the motor would surge then back fire. It has not happened since the filter change. good luck.

yep! Change the fuel filter. I had 33 miles on my '07 when it started acting like that. Found a silicone looking crud in the filter. Dealer said to plan on changing it a couple of times before it clears up. Carry a spare.
