was out driving my 650 joyner sand spider and started it just started spitting black smoke and backfireing. no adjustments and no upgrades were made prior. WTF happened! i dont know anything about these buggs, is there anyone in vegas that can help? i know is burning rich but i changed the air fuel mixture and timing and.........everything. nothings helping, i need to know if there is a jet kit i can buy for these, the size jets? or what the hell kind of carb that this thing has( or even a nice upgraded carb). nobody knows a thing and im very frustrated. anybody with advice or knowledge please help. im lost

Have you checked the spark plugs, as these tent to go quite quickly.

changed them several times, its definently the carb. i need an american carb instead of this chinese knockoff, any suggestions?

 

most people are going down the weber route, including a friend of mine, I got some jets for the stock carb.
