Your not gonna get much riding in! Its 135 miles from Vegas to Dumont one way.Figure 3 hours driving time each way,The speed limit for pulling a trailer in Cali is 55 mph,You can usually get away with 62-65 but no faster.

Keep an eye out around Cima road,It's a construction zone,a friend got a ticket in there 6 weeks ago for 62.........$890.00!Watch the hill coming into Baker as the CHP has 74 new Camaro's and someone has to finance them. They really watch that hill.

Btw going 70+ with a trailer(55 max limit) is a misdemeaner in Cali, real bad news.

Between your comments and the guy at the rental place we decided to go else ware. We went north on 15 to exit 58 (APEX) and rode there. We had a good time. Rode some washes, some sand but not real dunes, lots of rock and gravel, dirt roads. We were very close to the air force base and the race tracks. We got to see a bunch of fighter planes, bombers, stealth’s, and a decent size eagle. I think it was a golden eagle but was only about 4 ½ -5 foot wing span. All and all a good day of riding.

Also the quads ended up only costing $130.00 each because we brought our own gear. And the owner told us they would pick up customers, take them and the machines out, drop them off, then pick you back up at the end of the day. As long as there were 2 or more people.
