Default Noob with twister hammerhead question

I have visited the forum many times but have now just decided to join. I have to say this is a great site that has given me lots of great information.

So here is my problem. I sold my daughters Polaris Pred. 90 and picked up a used 04 hammerhead 150. She rode the cart off and on for five days and it quit. So I checked everything and concluded that the CDI was bad. I replace the CDI and it ran like a top for five more days. So I checked everything again and came to the same conclusion. I replaced the CDI again and it ran perfect for, just take a guess, five more days. So now it looks like it is the CDI box again. So now I have a new CDI, new coil, and new rectifier that I am going to install. Does anyone have any idea of what could be causing these to quit? I have checked all the wiring and made sure all the grounds were good.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Dan

Where is that CDI located? If it is close to the spark wires then replace the spark wires for electrical shocks. Check your voltage regulator for proper voltage and also check for voltage spikes from the voltage regulator or the GEN.

I believe once you take care of these issues you won't have these problems again....sounds alot like voltage spike or spark shocks to ground.
