looking to purchase rhino?
#1
I am looking to purchase a rhino but I dont know anything about them. I ride dirtbikes but I am looking to get something my family can be more involved in. I live in CA and I see that many of the rhinos advertised around here say they are registered in Arizona. Does anybody know why? Also are there any bad years to stay away from. I looked at one that was an 05 with 130 hours. Is that too many? What kinds of things should I be aware of and be looking for. Thank you all in advance for any suggestions.

I would not think that 135 hours is to high. There is a lot of machines out there with way more hours than that. I have about 70 hours on my four-wheeler and have hardly ridden it. Someone will chime in with the good and the bad on rhino's.

is it a 450 or a 660? does it have mileage reading on it too? If you do buy it and it has not had the free door upgrade for the rhino then take it in to the local dealer and drop it off they will hook you up with a set of doors for free by Yamaha.

well it either spent a lot of time idleing or not at any type of speed. so I would say it shouldnt have been abused much. Depending on the price I would say it should be a good sXs for a person to buy.
