Default 40 guns stolen from Lowell, Mass home...

All were secured in the basement, in a safe. The robber forced open the safe and stole all the guns-

Why would the owner have his Mass LTC revoked? Simply because the Chief is angry all these guns are on the street now?

It's not like the gun owner had anything to do with the robbery (as far as we know) why should he lose his LTC because he was robbed! Man, I hope he lawyers up quickly- cause that's BS!

Maybe just the way I read it, but it seems he could have just said "We suck at preventing crime, but it's the homeowners fault for having nice stuff anyway."

It's the typical anti-gun, the person who is robbed is the one at fault, mentality here in Massachusetts. How much you want to bet the thief or thieves were let back out on the streets by the same Mass. Parole Board that let the guy go who killed the officer in Woburn?

I don't see what losing his license has to do with the crime.

Here in Massachusetts, it's the home owners fault for any burglary... the house should never have been built to tempt the thief in the first place- I'm sure the thief could sue the contractor for making him break into the house.

In this state, he's actually not a "thief"... he's considered an "undocumented prison resident"

Which is why I hate Massachusetts.

When Ed King was governor there was a, "A man's home is his castle", law. It basically gave us the right to defend our home, family, and selves. Now it is not so clear and many guns were outlawed overnight by O'Reilly who used to be our AG here. He decided that there were several things that he considered unsafe so he made rules that basically outlawed most handguns overnight back a few years ago. Now that we have a liberal governor they're talking about giving illegal aliens in state education instead of deporting them. Every time the federal government rounds up illegals in Mass. there is a huge cry about how unhearted the feds are.

Gov. King was way better then the Duke and the others that followed him.

What part of NH did you move to. We're thinking of getting out of here someday.

Little town called Fremont, perfect location in Southern N.H.
30 mins from the seacoast
30 mins from ManchVegas
30 mins from Salem
60 mins from Boston
10 mins from N.E.D.
One State owned ATV trail in town, this area is pretty quiet and far enough away from the border to keep the rif-raf away.

Okay, I know where that is. I've been on the Derry railtrail a few times when winter is getting me down. How are the property taxes there?
