I went for a long time not knowing why my photos wouldn't upload. It said "Pending Approval" for weeks. Then RAPTORYFM66R pointed out that my photo files were too big. I needed to use a photo editing program to diminish the file size to 150K, or less. Most of my photos were around 450K. Using Microsoft Picture It Photo 2002, I saved the photos to be ready for export to the web. This greatly diminishes the file size, and therefore makes them suitable to upload onto this forum. Since doing this, I've changed my photos a few times, and it never took more than a few hours to get them approved.

Hope this helps.

Badcompanyracing, if you have any kind of photo editing program on your computer, you should be able to save your photos for export to the web. On my program (Microsoft Picture It Photo 2002), it says Save as web-ready picture. This will significantly reduce your file size. The reason this is done is because a typical photo file will offer way more resolution than your computer screen offers, and therefore it's a huge waste of file space. Furthermore, without making the file smaller, it'll take much longer to upload/download.
