man that sounds great! but....... if i'm not mistaken aren't those to be mounted on a wheel? (the magnet)
how or what did you calibreate it to? what size wheel? is the reading on the display true? or is it off a mile or two? i just want to know before i go and drill into my sprocket.
thanks

thats a realy good idea mounting the magnet on the sprocket, i fitted one to the zilla and ended up glueing the magnet onto the inside of the wheel and tiewrapping the pickup to the brake caliper, nerver got it working acurately,
think ill have another go doing it your way should get a good acurate reading apart from wheel spinning,
greenbud, you can set the wheel at what ever size youve got on your quad, the fact that the pickup is turning on a much smaller sprocket doesnt matter cos the pickup is reading revolutions each time the magnet passes it, it works out the speed based on the distace one revolution of your wheel will travel and how fast it recieves pulses, ie revolutions,
hope that makes sense, its 4:20 am here and way past my bed time.
