I dont even notice the adds. But who do you think helps pay for the site besides the supporting members?

When you pay for a subscription for a magazine do they remove all the adds before they send you the magazine?

...DUH...just something to think about.

I have to agree with dancingqueen on this - the advertising is what most likely keeps this site alive and to remove it would likely reduce revenue. At the very least would make for a more difficult sell when trying to win over new advertisers... I would think the sales line would sound something like this, “company A, if you advertise with us all of our members will see your great new banner add, well….except for our most loyal and active members that is but…”
