Default Can't post reply to thread?!?

Twice now I've tried to post a response to a thread regarding wheel extenders (wheelbase widening) on youth ATV's. Both times it seemed to work but the response never shows up on the thread. I tried once yesterday and once today.

The only thing unusual about these responses was that I included a link to a photo of a piece of hardware I recommended. The preview function worked perfectly and showed me my response just fine.

Why can't I post responses with photos in them?!?

I've had that problem before, and it was more an issue with where I copied the pic from, and the blocking software here at work.

Doesn't mean that's the problem, just a possible one.

And you need to see what format the picture is in too. I think.

It was a link using the [img][/img] tags. A standard JPG file at a standard URL. Came up fine when I used this site's preview button, as you'd expect because all this site is doing is communicating a URL. It's the local user's browser that actually requests the file data from the other site.

I'll post a message next that has the image link in it. We'll see.

Worked on this thread, this time. That's the exact same link to the exact same file. I'm totally baffled. I'm also tired of typing that response in the other thread, so while I'm sure it would have been useful (it directly answered a question someone posed) I'm not going to do it a third time.
