I was hoping someone could help with my issue on top speed. I recently got a kodiak 450 with 360 miles on it. I had some issues with the idle I fixed, but after reading other articles, my top speed seems low. I havent ridden much but I only got this thing up to 41 mphs. That was on pavement and even down hill. I heard these units should reach approx 52 mph's. Does it ssound like something is wrong with it? It kind of sounds as if it has a governor cutting it out there??? Please help this new owner....

 

what about the limit screw on the throttle ya checked that?
