Default Marking Read

Great job on the new boards, but I had one question.

On the old boards if I was viewing a forum and closed my browser, then the next time I went to that forum all the threads that were there when I closed it out were marked read. Now it seems I need to manually click the mark forum read pull down before I close out, Is there any way to reenable this feature?

OK so for today it seems like maybe every other time I mark a forum read, it does not remember it. So when I go back into the forum it shows posts unread that I marked read already?

Thoughts?

Try clearing your cookies.
If you mark a forum "read", then it should keep it read.

I hope that helps!

How about my first question? Anyway to mark a forum read just by visiting it?

It doesn't look like it unless you have made sure you have read all you want and then go to quick links up above and the hit mark forums read but that will be all the forums.

If you read all unread threads within it, it will mark it as read.

That feature is also cookie based. So if you have custom cookie settings in your browser or delete you cookies a lot. That will also do it.
