I have a 03 Honda 450es that keeps draining the battery. Put a new battery on it did not solve the problem. I can fully charge the battery externally hook it up and if it sits for three or more days it will be dead. If I start it every day I have no problems. Its seems like something is draining the battery when the key is off. I have looked for shorts in the wiring but have came up empty. Does anyone know what might be causing this.

 

Do you have any electric aftermarket accessories on the ATV, winch or hand warmers ect.?

 

Yes I have a winch but I have unhooked it and it still drains the battery. That is the only add-on I have.
