Hi everyone,

We launched the new forum software today. All of the old threads were copied over so none of the content was lost. I'll post more info later in the day on Wednesday explaining what the new forums offer.

We're still updating the software with new features and I still need to add the "Notify Operator" option into this new software. So give us a few days!

The new software is very similar to the old software. It will no doubt take a little time for you to get used to the new button locations and some of the new features that are available. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Nice new software. I like the ability to filter out forums that I dont read.

The only thing left ot change is the banner that doesnt match this fancy new software.

Personally, I find the new as slow as the old. Some things come up quicker but for the most part I am sitting here (on a T1 line) waiting and waiting. Seven seconds from the click of a topic to the text appearing. 15 seconds from the click of new topic to an input screen.

I am reserving judgement for now.

DBeck, thanks for the efforts. I hope my troubles go away as setup of the new software continues.

Deej,

Our current T-1 is saturated. We have a new T-1 ordered. When it's installed you'll see a big improvement.

Dave

I like the looks of the new software. I have one question though, when I log in, the blue folder shows that there are new messages, but once I click into one forum, they all go back to tan indicating no new messages. The old software would maintain them as new until I logged off. Is this something I need to get used to or is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

The new software's fine but the only thing I care about is the fact that it's 100 times faster than the old. Three cheers! At least someone listened.

You picked the best Forum software out there dbeck. FuseTalk is used to run the largest forum on the internet. It makes this place look small in comparison.
