Did you upgrade the server by chance?


Since the new forum I am getting on the site alot slower then the old forum. Even though I am on DSL! Look like you need to work on it IMO.

Other that it really look good and good job.

No, servers are the same. I have a few things to do. Tonight after the load is off the servers I need to create the fulltext search in the database which will help. I also need to run some analyze jobs to see where things are slow and do some tuning. I'll get them flying again. I can only get the info I need when they are live because I can't simulate 70+ users hitting the forums at the same time in test!

Also, stuff besides the forum has been a little slow and I think we might have some noise on our T-1. We're checking that too.

hey dbeck is it possible to make the signatures longer wouldn't mind having a few more characters to work with that would be great thanks

 

dbeck, nothing major, but its still listing subscription update in the subject line of the emails you get when you subscribe to a thread.

 

What would you prefer it to say?

 

Doesn't really matter, I thought that was a temp message during the testing to keep the subscriptions from the two boards seperate. It all works for me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

However theMOOSE and I have made a couple of attempts at getting the "email this thread" function to work and I still can't get it to go through, last time I tried was over 15 minutes ago and it still hasn't went through.

What is that "editor" thing that you mention Mudhound???
