The new forums are working great for me!!
The other day it was kinda slow but it's back up to speed now.

I'd like to see a email notufication for PMs.
I think that would be a good feature.

I'm new here, so be gentle!

When I click on a thread and read the submitted posts, all is fine. When I click on the "back" icon, I need to click it 2 to 4 times (usually 3) to return to the previous page. This is very frustrating. I have tried several other forums with no complications.

What needs to be done to correct this situstion?

Main problem I notice is the Flash Ads. they cause everything to slow down and load up peoples puters. The GIFs and jpgs dont do anything. but as soon as you have 2 or 5 tabs/windows open your proccesor is maxed and everything comes to a screachin halt.

My solution on my Forum Machine was to block all Ads and mine hauls **** and never loads up the proccesor.. On my other machines when i access the forums if i have 1 window open its no biggy. but soon as i get multiple everything sloooooooows down.

Flash Adds Suck!

For the most part I like the changes.
Im only having one issue, and I dont know if its on my end or not. But it happens on both computors, here and at work, one a mac and one a pc.
Logging in can be frustrating. Half of the time i get this message

"
Forum Error
An error has occurred. If you wish to notify the administrator please click here.

To go back to the main forum page please click here.

ERROR INFORMATION:Element STARTPAGE is undefined in URL.
The error occurred on line 972.
"

Eventually, as you can see, I get in. Usually i click the login button on the top row, because clicking the box on the right(for logging in) never let me in.

Hondabuster,

When you try to use the logon box on the right and you get that error, what page are you starting from? Are you at the forums home page or some other page?

I found one flash ad that was creating CPU usage problems and I have disabled it until I can talk to the agency on Friday about it.

Usually the todays new topics page, or I wait until i get to a certain thread, and then i login at that point so i can reply.
If im not logged in, and hit the reply button...the window for logging in comes out automaticly, and that one i can usually get to work.

Yes I'm aware that this thread was started to recognize problems with the last forum software update, (actually this whole forum was), but I'm posting here anyway so I dont have to start a new one.

I'm having some problems with posting. The "http" and other java buttons arent working for me, using the classic or wysiwyg editor. Worked fine a few days ago, and this computer has been off since then. Got the same results with my laptop as well, so I'm at a loss on my end. Any suggestions?
