Default racing 250ex??

you can get an aftermarket exhaust system,k&n air filter and jet kit to start with,it will gain you more hp and speed. Then if you want to go into the engine get you a bore kit, piston kit,and new cam. I would recommend that you should get some durablue wheel spacers for your 250ex to make it wider and handle better.

Front wheelspacers...extreme bumpsteer, much worse suspension action, muc faster wearing bearings...just a few GREAT things about wheel spacers...in the rear...also faster bearing wear, bent axle...oh man these are GREAT !!! ...if you like your quad stay away from crap a$$ wheel spacers

Hey lets slove this air filter thing. I just did an experiment with K&N vs UNI on my 300ex. First I ran the UNI all weekend riding in dusty trails. I pulled it off and I ran my finger around the inner intake boot area and it was clean, the UNI had performed flawless. Next weekend I did the exact same test with K&N and I found when I pulled the filter off I had dirt aroud the inside of my intake. My K&N now sits on the shelf and I run strictly UNI, and you can't tell a difference between the two and how the engine performs, it's not like the K&N will give you "huge gains" it will perform exactally the same as UNI only a DYNO could tell the difference. UNI are half the cost of K&N and they perform better so WHY K&N???

Sigh....I have seen 250EX axles bend like cheese without wheelspacers...add in 2 inches more leverage and just think what happens...if you do any serious jumping you will have problems...if you don't notice bumpsteer...wow...good for you...I guess. If spending more money on bearings and going through the pain of replacing them..awesome...(on sport quads besides the 250EX) .....there is a reason for wider a-arms...shocks valved for wider a-arms..STRONGER & WIDER rear axles and double wide and taperd bearing carriers...but I guess that stuff is all just hype....
