this is a little off topic but I read your photo page and you said you were getting a K&N air filter. I won't, if you do you will end up replaceing you engine with in 6-12 months.

Im sorry but you have no idea about what your talking about...... A K&N air filter is a preformance mod, There is no practical way it could take your motor "out" i completely built my motor and i run a K&N on everything i own, i would swear by them as being one of the best, please know what your talking about before you give advice.

I'm just going by what i heard. I was thinking about getting one so I called up a dealer and asked about them and he talked me out of it. He said QUOTE "every one that we install within 6-12 months they end up replaceing there engine"! Thats what I heard weather you like it or not.

K & N's do FLOW better but...they don't filter out as fine are a foam filter...to aid in filtration K & N sells a pre-filter...once thats added it filters just as well as the foam...but the then you loose the advantage of the better flow...so the filter needs to be larger to gain anything from it...as for the 6 - 12 month thing...maybe the person bought the K&N and didn't put it on ... ?...

sounds like your dealer is full of $h!t
... You can quote me on that

Dude K&N's are the best out there, you've got to be crazy im not even considering a UNI or twin air.
