just interest to hear from any one who has had to repare there frames on 250x/300ex....especially interested to hear from people who talk about jumping on this forum.....i don't really jump my bike...but i do ride it hard on trails....and am told that is the reason....i go to fast?!....but slow is boring....any way have crack by the left hand foot peg (at the base of the weld for the upright).....see a lot go there....and crack across the top and bottom of the swing arm part which holds the alloy bearing housing and is used in the chain adjustment....i guess all models of bikes have there weak points....it just depends on how hard u ride asto how easily you find them!
any one with any interesting experiences?

My tc405ex was cracked all over i just went over the complete frame tig welding . i also have a custom piviot bolt that is stainless and longs because i have big washers welded where the piviot bolt goes through pribably right where yours is cracked. i also have to brackets welded unerneath the piviot bolt on the bottom of the frame. i also would reccommend a full skid hope this helps. oh i also have a 250r shock tower welder to my 3405ex frame email if u have any questions
