The Pure Sports Realter looks pretty sweet. Is it a decent tire?
They are 2 inches wider than my stock Dunflops, how will
that effect the performance of the bike??

i have those tires on my 250x (300ex with less cc's) and they are sweet. they don't give you as much traction when going around a sharp turn because of the tread pattern. they are great in mud, and in the dirt. being wider, they will make the handling of your 250ex a lot better. hope i was of some help. oh, and by the way, they are excelent tires.

Thanks for the info. Do you think, having only a 250EX, I would notice a power loss due to
the paddle style design?

Thanks again

not really, the paddle style design won't give you a real noticable power loss.
