im am going to buy a 102-105 main jet for my 250ex. i have never jetted a quad before though and i dont know where to start. can anyone tell me how to change the main jet? thanks

jet sizes are 6mm. use small socket and wratchet.

 

Its simple, take the carb off- take off the float bowl on the bottom of the carb. A small pin holds the float in place, carefully push it out with a awl or such, and the main jet is right there, on the longest "tube". Easy as pie.
