Default Whew got my Rincon today

I flew home to try it out. I love it it's everything I expected and more. Going riding tom with my best friend he bought a P650, just couldn't make myself buy one. I'll try to pst some pics after we ride. Are there any problems with the Rincon I need to watch out for? Where is a good spot online to order skid plates and cv joint protectors. I've been looking at some tires as well and have it narrowed down to Mud Lites and itp 589's, between these two which would be the best choice. Thanks for any advice guys!

I considering the Rincon as well and the first thing I noticed was the total lack of Skid plates and the cv boots look very exposed as well, The things you mention are exactly what I said I would have to add immediately after purchasing one. So if you find a good set of skid platesa and cv protectors let me know.

My freind bought the p650. good machine but I didn't like the belt drive. It is a wheelie machine. Anybody if the Rincon will wheelie???

Between those two tires, I'd get the Mud Lites. They both reportedly have a low speed clop to them. I think the Mud Lites are a better all around tire though. It depends on your riding terrain preference. There are a lot of happy people with both tires. Make sure you get the 589 M/S and not the 589 M/T's if you go that route.

DWB..... do you ever go to Bong? I'm from waterford and have been there a couple of times..... I tend to prefer Black River Falls area trails to Bong, but then again Bong is close.

Tnx for the input DirtyWhiteboy, Had a blast today with my bud. After riding both the P650 and the Rincon I would have to say it's a toss up between the quads, I would be happy with either one really just depends on what your looking for. While the P650 is faster(not as fast as I was lead to believe)all that speed doesn't help much in trail situations or at least the ones we rode. Like being able to lock the front end on the P650 but didn't really miss it on the Rincon. Comfort wise the Rincon is way ahead, when my buddy got on it he just said wow that thing rides like a caddy. As for as engine braking I thought the Rincon got the job done just not as well as the P650. Bottom line I went everywhere he went and he went everywhere I went, I just got there with a little more comfort and he had a little more speed in areas where we could open them up. Different strokes for different folks, I'm happy with my choice as is he, but I have nothing but good things to say about the P650 it's a great machine just not right for me.
Oh Rbig 18 I'll let you know when I find a good set of skids and cv prot, the undercarraige on the Rincon is waaaay underprotected.

The Rincon is a great quad.Don't get dissapointed in it until it is broken in.Mine did'nt start comming alive until about the 200-300 mile mark. And on tires the the ITP ATRS are awsome.

650T where did you get those headlight guards? Haven't seen those before, they looked good on your bike.
