If you ride hard, no adjustment to the stock shocks will help you. I think they (the stock front shocks) were designed for flat trail riding.

I got a set of Works triple rates. I think they are ok for beating around on, but, by the price you can tell they are not the best. They are a million percent better than stock though. If you are on a budget they are super, but if you can afford better, get better. According to the article on the front page of the connection, PEP shocks can take a while to get. If you are impulsive (as am I), you can get Works in a couple days. I got mine in two business days from Magic Racing in MI. The nice thing about the Work Shocks, is when you land hard off a big jump, they don't rebound "bounce" like the stockers. They don't bottom out unless you land very badly, or off some serious air.

If you're not into serious racing the Works is OK or you can check out TCS shocks from CT Racing.

I set up my stock suspension last night and it feels better than ever. I was getting beat around in the woods on ruts because it was too stiff. I have the front set to the next to the last notch, I haven't done any drop offs or high junps so I don't know if it will bottom out, but I do know I can turn faster and can eat small trail whoops up.
I set the compression softer by about 1/4 past what it was stock. It works better now too. It gets down in the corners, and I can really feel it hook up better. I still need to tweak the rebound to get it just right, but I think I got it. Like I said I hav not tried on a woods trail yet only in a plowed field with small terrace rows
nothing that will launch you.

I will keep you guys posted
