I would guess that stock, an LT500 would have been the fastest of all of them wound out. This is from numbers that I have heard over the years. There isn't much telling though. Its obviously between the 500, the DS650, and the Banshee, and probably in that order as well. I'm with the guy that said that they are all probably within 5mph of each other.

To whom it may concern: you who dont know what a lt500 is, well you need to do some research as though you say you do and find out that the LT500, was a 500cc 2stroke suzuki racing quad. AKA quadzilla. and ahhhh BUFF, that is what tim has down here at the corner.

One thing I'm dissipointed in that I believe Suzuki did with the quadzilla is with the tall gearing it comes with. It could of been even faster out of the hole with lower gearing and still have the same top speed. It will NOT pull 5th gear out all the way. Its still very competitive in top speed and just may be the fastest, but if you put a pipe on, you can overcome this. Its near 10mph faster with a pipe(putting it in the mid 80 mph range)and I think suzuki did this on purpose so the motor wouldnt see huge RPM on top gear. Whats up with that huge converter style mufler? How can a 500cc engine breath through that? Not very well! Theres alot of things suzuki did to keep the power down on this 500cc engine, and it becomes apparent when you start modifying the engine...then the true 500cc horsepower comes out to play, and puts it in a class all its own.
