top speed of a 250R
#12
My 87 Quad ran 85 by according to my GPS. It had a cool head , 185 psi of compression, a 36 mm Keihn, a
rad valve and FMF pipe. The ingnition was stock and i did a little port and polish myself.
A midly modified 250r 3 wheeler will be a wild ride in my opinion after having one with 4 wheels to compare to. Less weight and one less wheel control the power.
One of the guys I rode with has a Roost Boost on his 89 ...... it's been on there for years he still has the stock CDI box with no problems but it runs the same with or with out the Roost Boost. I think he leaves it on just to make people scratch their heads.
