What is the top speed of a 1985 250r stock?

 

bout 68-72 or so my unlces r wiht pipe and roost boost would do about 83 so idk..

 

excuse me if Isound stupid, but I new at this..... what is a roost boost???

 

no prob most people dotn knwo what it is and im not 100% either but you plug in in to the cdi or ignition somwhere and it gives it a hotter spark or sumtin or idk for sure really all i know its somthing with the ingniotn and it was suppose to give ya about a 3-5mph increase

 

Everything I've ever heard about the RoostBoost isn't good and the fact that they're not making them anymore should be a good indication.

 

From what I have heard a "roost boost" is a "money waste" ....I know of acouple of people that had tried them and didn't gain anything from them...

With your uncles 250R doing 83...hey it's possible but he must have pretty tall gearing to do that with just a pipe...

 

i honestly think that the 250r could do at least 75 with a pipe but 83 thats pushing the limits

the roost boost will screw your ignition all up after a while.

 

On atvrider.com it says that they will go about 68 mph.
