what is the top speed of a 300ex
and how much horse power do they have

 

A "stock" 300EX has 17HP(rear-wheel) and has a top speed of 52-54 mph.

I thought they were much faster than that stock. I have a friend whos stock 250X runs right alongside my modded 300 and it does 56. I was told that a stock 300 will run 60 or 61 which stands to reason because a stock 250 has 14 hp and a stock 300 has 17 like mentioned before.

i have been clocked at 64 only modifications is tires same size as stock just wider.

 

you goin downhill boy? It seems like it should be faster than 55 but 55 is the top speed says all the magazines and other media. It seems faster because Honda did a good job gearing the 300 and you get to the top speed fast. A warrior, everyone knows a warrior beats the 300 in the long run, goes 65.

 

no not going down hill have several witnesses and have race a couple of stock 250x, they are fast also but not as fast as a 300 maybe mine is not right or something, if so i am gonna leave it like it is. but i have been clocked doing 63 and 64 several times. beleive it or not i know i was on it.

 

my stock 300ex will run right at 55

 

no way a warrior does 65 and a ex does 55
my friend has a warior and when were both in 5th gear we run side by side my ex might even pull away slowly and 6th gear on a warrior is like an over drive

in an dirt wheels they put the ex against a warrior and they said that a warrior tops out at 65-70 and an ex at 60-65
