250ex handlebar swap
#1
Well I just purchased Fly Racing Handlebars for my 250ex and have had tons of problems.Like one when I tried to put the little console thing back on the clamps it all messed up and looks real funny, then i stripped 2 bolts and 2 screws and brok one screw, Now I've gotten everything off my 250 but i stil cant get the clutch/rear brake/reverse safety lever off cuz the screws r stripped. I hjav tried everything and dont want to saw through the piece but i dont know what to do?any suggestions?

If you use the correct size screwdrivers you wouldn't have had this problem...always use the proper tools. And as for your clutch lever...you lost me 250EX's don't have them so I don't know where yours came from...
Some things you can do to get your mystery "clutch/break/reverse" lever on and get the screws you destoyed out are...drill out the old screws and retap the holes...then put in new screws. Or you could weld a piece of metal on them and turn it with a pair of vicegrips. Or they make a tool that removes screws that have been mangled....hopefully you wil have learned from this experiene.

I finally got it and drilled out the screws and used a 5/32" EZ OUT to get it out worked great. Also KILLER250R, I meant 250ex's have a rear brake instead of the clutch on the right side so thats whi i called them that cause i dont even know there proper name and also on the rear brake lever there is a button you push and you pull back the lever and shift down to go to reverse thats what I meant by the reverse thing too.
