Digital Speedo. & Wheel Upgrade Pkgs.
#1
I've read all the posts about upgrading the Rancher's wheel / tire packages with a taller stance tire. This sounds good, added ground clearance and improved traction in certain terrain.
However, has anyone been able to modify the digital speedometer / odometer to account for the larger tires? I don't think the difference would be too great. But sometimes I like to know the exact distance I rode that day.
My thoughts are the gauge package must be able to be programmed for such a change. I'm gonna check with my dealer this week and see what he knows.
Thanks in advance.

You are going to have to ask Honda. The guys I ride with have 450's with taller tires, & there speedo is off a little.
To get an accurate distance after you change tires you may need to purchase a GPS unit.
24 25 26
10 10.4 10.8
20 20.8 21.7
30 31.3 32.5
The numbers 24, 25, 26 represent tire size, the 10 ,20,30 represent miles. So if you go to a 26 inch tire & travel 30 miles per your unadjusted speedo you really traveled 32.5 miles.
