Default 250r porting! From who?

i am going to get my 250R ported and am wondering who would be the best... i am considering FTZ, Grand River Racing, and K & T Peformance. my question is, is would K & T Performance be as good as these other two? i would rather have them do it as they are 30 mins away and i wouldnt have to ship my cylinder out... but which one would perform the best?

Dennis Packard of Packard Ent. is the Honda Guru. K&T is an excellent choice but they are more into Banshee's and rotax motors.. Packard is in Farmington Utah..

All I have to say is ESR Eddie Sanders Racing In Cal. These Guys are the Best. They have ads in all the Mags.

Dennis Packard does not have a site. You can go to planetsand and somebody there will have his number.. K&T will not do you wrong so don't count them out. See what meets your needs and go from there. ESR is a great company, but you will get more custom porting from Packard or K&T as they don't need to advertise in mags, because their work is so good...

Packard and K&T both have awesome building skills. If you want a custom job tailored to your needs i'd stay away from any shop that has to advertise. The best companies are built on word of mouth.

the best bang for your buck is ESR! never had a problem with them every thing has worked just as they said it would. ESR does not port as agressive as other shops do, but that is because the are also keeping in mind reliability for your motor.

reliability or quality control? hmmm. That is the question. Why? Because eddies personal "friends" have wickedly fast machines, while you and the rest of the average joe society is left at the start line. Its not reliability, its just the fact that he doesnt build fast motors except for his buddies, and long time business associates.

Well I find that hard to believe. Since I have spent my fare share of money on these 250r motor at ESR. All the guys at ESR know me by name, but I have only spoke to Eddie himself twice. Would he consider me as one of his friend, or a buddy??? NO. Would he consider me a good customer?? Yes a great one. My point being that you don’t have to be a buddy of eddies to get a great motor. I am so confident with all the motor’s I have had built from ESR that I would put my bike and pinks up against any other bike out there with the same size motor and know I will come out on top. It may not be by much but a win is win .310, 330bb. 350bb
