When I got it there was no kick starter on it. Now that I have a kick starter for it when you kick it over its like there is nothing there. The engine starts and runs fine with the electric start. What could the problem be ?

The one way bearing in the centrifugal clutch is what gives you engine braking and is what lets the kick starter engage right. I know the one way bearing is ok because the engine braking is great. Any other ideas? My guess would be that the starter gear on the inside of the shaft would probably be missing.

My starter doesn't work on mine. it just makes a click, but maybe that's for the better, cuase this way it's not gonna wear down my gears and mess up my stator. Thank god the kickstart work or I woudlnt' be riding it *

The electric starter works great on mine. The only problem is that damn kick starter. I guess I will get it fixed in a few weeks. I wont worry about it now I will just use the electric starter. I have also noticed an oil leak on the left engine cover ( stator assembly side ) I will be taking that off and sealing it proper when I get the repair manual.
