What would be a good price to buy a used Honda Recon 250. It is a 1997 in good condition with minimal body damage and new tires. It is being offered for $1800, and I would like to make sure I get a good deal. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

 

If this is a private sale it seems to be a little high by about 10-15%

If it checks out though and with the new tires it might be worth it.

You could check Kelley Blue Book or NADA to get an idea. Maybe you could check atv trader and see what others are charging for the same year.

When you say minimal damage, what is damaged?

 

I paid $2,000 for my '01 Recon - excellent condition (except front tires 50% worn)
