$5550 out the door (doesn't include the $275 tax; bought it out of state) for my '00 400EX bought in April 2000.

 

Here in Logan, WV I paid $5400 for mine plus taxes out the door. Since everyone wants one, be wary of dealers selling them at a big markup. Ask about the interest rate also. Be wary of dealers that only deal with one or two banks that have high interest rates (above 12-13%). They are just like car dealerships - getting cash in ways that the customer does'nt notice!

 

I got mine for $4600-a great deal-which it was a 2000 model w/ FMF Megamax pipe and K&N filter plus a $375 extended 3 year warranty. This is the cheapest I have ever seen a 2000 for.

Bought mine 2000 400ex in Feb. for $6,235.00 out the door. Cheapest price I could find in my area, and I looked at several dealers.

I paid $4300 for my 99 last october. It came with nerf bars and some cheap aftermarket handlebars everything else was stock excep the tires which needed replacing anyway.

 

Topdawg, I know it sounds low but it did kinda help that my dad knew the guy real well that we bought it from. The guy was asking $5000 but my dad talked him down to 4600. Hey, don't ask me. But I am sure that that's the price we got it for. Cya

Got it two days ago! Gawd this machine freakin rocks! I have already wasted my friends 300ex and crushed my other friends 99' 400 sport. THe suspension is unbeliveable! wow!
