SHADYRASCAL-i use the fmf q- muffler and power bomb header on my 686 raptor and even with no air box lid it still came in at (92) decibels when the forest service checked it .

I don't think pro-circuit would pass the decibel test. My friend had a MBRP on his DS an it is very quiet

we don't get sound checked around here. I was just wondering if I went to a public trail if it would pass because it is loud as a friggin harley. It hurts my freakin ears. But its worth the power it gave. Whew It gave awsome power gains. I couldn't believe it. THey are well worth the money. So go curtis sparks dude.

WOOHOO!!!! I always wanted a rubber cookie. It was one of those really tough words to spell too Notice also that I used the correct spelling of the word "too". Well, that's all the brain cells that I have left for one day. I better go drink a few beers and gain some more wisdom.

I have never heard a fmf bu, yes the powergains are unbelievable. I puch it on a gravel road that was loose and it spun through third gear. On wet pavement just floor it pop the clutch and watch the tires smoke. It will rise up into 4th gear if done just right when it would only do it in third. Mid range and top end is were it really shines but don't get me wrong it added gobs of torque. And to boot it was only like $ 315 but, I only got the X-4 It was for 300 with 282cc's and like 350 or something. But anyway it was well worth the money and I do not regret it. And by the way trx440 wen you said no sparks will pass the test did you you no, sparks will pass a test or sparks will pass the test. As in yes or no. Well anyway dude get it you will love it. Here is the site again.curtis sparks pipes! Gotta chem em' out!

I know you are talking about 400ex stuff, but I put a brand new FMF Q on my 250R and it got no quieter!
I have a decibel meter. All it did was change the tone of the sound, but nothing got quieter.
I'm a little disappointed in FMF for this. However, there was NO power loss.
