Default tires mud bug, mudzilla, or mudlite

okay I have a 2003 Honda Rancher ES 350 4x4, and I want some good mud tires. The question is what tire is best for alot of mud rides? Should I buy new rims two, or should I put them on the factory rims.My tires sizes are front 24x8x12 and back is 24x9x11. I want to go with 25", but I don't the sizes like 25x-x. Thanks for the help

big red1----I got gators on my cat and there almost identicle to the mud bugs. And there a sweet tire now if you want the deep lug you have to go with the 26" tire or bigger. The 25" tire dosent have the deep lug's there like the stocker's were new. The mud zilla's are very heavy. And the mud lites are a good tire to get and there a good price also. But i love my gators they work great in the mud snow or any terrane and with only 3psi they even ride great.PS. Dont forget the deep lug tire is the best for the mud and snow.26" or bigger.PSS. Check out my page and you'll see the gator's in action.

Ok zillas are for someone who wil be in mud all the time main drawback is weight but is should not be a problem unless you buy a 27" tire, they will ride rough and they WILL get the job done. Mudlites will go a fair job in the mud and also will ride better, if you are serious about the mud get the zillas. I would go with 25-10-12 on front and 25-12-12 rear if I wanted a 25" tire, I do not know if these tires are made for an 11" rim so you might need a new set of wheels. Some would prefer to go with 25-8-12 front and 25-10-12 back. 25 is hight, second of set nubers 8-10-12 is how wide it is and the last set of numbers 11-12 is rim size. I have seen the bugs in 27" tires and they were smaller than my friends 26" 589's I would wonder if a 25" bug would really be 25 inches, the lugs were kind of small too.

whatever you buy. if you whant the deep lug then you have to go 26" or bigger. and the deep lug is the best for mud riding.catkrazy had zillas on his cat and he took them off and put some mudlites on and he said that the differance in weight was enuff to make a differance in performance. he loves his mudlites.unless you got tons of power you dont whant the zillas. too heavy= lost horse power= getting stuck.PS. go for the GATOR'S you wont be disapointed.or the mudlites but not the zillas.there to heavy.
