Hi all,
i finaly got to the point that this old junker is running somewhat, but not properly.
When i push the throttle the the engine dies anstatt of reving up.
I think it has to do with the carb, but I cant find a carb kit for this model.
Any suggestions apreciated. I did order a manual for this bike but it didnt get here yet.
And if somebody from Northern BC could point me in the right direction for ordering parts for this bike, that would be great. (online if possible)
The local dealer (50 km) told me that ther isnt a carbkit for this model and year....?

Your local dealer is right...in a way. You can get a carb gasket set (all you need most times) and all other parts separately from any Honda dealer. If you want good results, stick with OE parts. Soak your metal parts in an appropriate solution. Aerosol carb spray won't cut it. Check with your local auto parts stores what the local repair shops use. I use a product called Hydrosolve II. It takes about a good day to work, but does a great job, and is mild enough to use on plastic, and even most rubber parts.
