Hey gang I recently bought a Honda 300EX thanks to all the adivce I received from you all. But I seemed to have misplaced my manual and im not sure what product I should use to clean and lubricate the chain on my quad with. I have just been spraying it with water to get all the dust and dirt out but then it hit me I may be causing it to rust easier.

go to any shop and they sell chain lube. some people just use wd-40.

 

i dont know how important it is but since i run a o-ring chain and im sure u do as well id make sure the chain lube is o-ring safe.

 

I just use WD-40 after i wash it and it works fine. but make sure you dry the whole chain after you wash it then put the WD-40 on.

how do u like that 300 so far zun? what year is it? i just bought one a couple months ago, and am always willing to yap about somethin or other so i figured i'd ask. PM me if you need to know anything.

 

maxima chain wax works pretty good, i heard WD-40 isn't good for o-rings.
