Problem with a 300EX Help ME OUT (Been 1 Month)
I had a similar problem with my 250x. It was the connection between my cdi box and the wiring harness. you know the white plug that goes into the cdi box from the wiring harness? Well, one of the four connections was loose and it would make my quad act like it was running out of gas and then when it would stall I wouldnt be able to get it started again. anyways, you cant just fix the loose wire you will need a whole new wiring harness, try checking ebay for a good osed one and that may fix your problem. oh yea, check those connections first befor you go buying something you dont need. hope that helps.

Thanks PaulV, that's one of the thing I was going to check. How much is a new wiring harness just to know? BTW, when I think about it Paul, When the problem appeared, It was cutting like I said but I wasn't knowing what it was so I was pressing the throttle more and when I was not pressing anymore, It stalled and I had an hard time to restart it (about 1-2 minutes)

Your problems sound exactly like the ones i was having. good luck.

Ok, I checked the coil. .I checked the resistance. I don't really how a multimeter works
because I'm 15. Here what happened. When I put it on 200 Ohms, It give me a big one. same thing on 2K ohms. When I put it on 200K Ohms, I read a 3. On 20M Ohms, I read a 0. What's up with that coil? When I use the conductivity beeping mode (beeps when it conducts), It doesn't do like normally ( Read 0 and beeps), it reads 1386-1387 and it doesn't beeps. normally when it don't conduct, it just read a big 1. What's UP? Thanks

Alright sport...here we go
get your multi meter...and by the age 15 you should be able to fly a dang space shuttle
Set your multi-meter to peak voltage hold(something similar)
#1take red lead and touch to a ground
take black lead touch to primary coil wire(blk/yell)while still connected to coil
turn bike over with starter(yah I see its bad-should only need new brushes if anything)
this test should read at least 100v
#2pulse gen test disconect factory plug near battery
red lead to blue/yellow
blk to grn/wht
crank engine
should read at least .7volts
PM me if you need more help and I'll give it
