I dunno why I'm posting this topic. It might help somepeople, but I doubt it. Just thought I'd tell you I rode my recon almost all day today. I got it going top speed just slammed the bars to the left and did a 360. It was cool! Does anybody know how to do that without grinding the gears when you start going backwards? You can slide the rear end around real easy, in fact, its around beside yuou most of the time when your in turns. it doesnt get to good of traction of the start, defunatly not holeshot material. If I get studs, will it hurt them or wear them prematurly when I ride in grass or on dirt?

reconrider, i don't know what studs would do if they would hert your tires or not. But i put chains on my sport quad and it goes really good. but they don't help the slidding. But probably on a recon you could go just about anywhere. but you have to make sure they are tight or else they can fall off and that is a real pain.
