first of all sorry for the double topic. Here is my theory. I believe this is the year that honda comes out with there new atv. I believe that there is a little talkin goin on between honda and yamaha also. You know the old expression keep your friends close keep your enemies closer. I believe that they have given a little info to each other about building some new race oriented atvs. Not that they shared any more then that. I believe that they may be tryin to resurect atv racing. Yamaha could just release their yfz by themselves but i don't think they could carry the race world on there shoulders alone. There has to be a rival in the mix and honda would be it. Look at motocross supercross dirt bikes. Their sport is where it is because there are to good companies that back their riders and very competitive toward each other. I think maybe honda has just been holdin out this year to surprise everyone. I also don't think a crf450 will be the only quad they release either. I think that they may put out 2 and one of probably a big bore with reverse. This is just my theory. If i'm wrong (most likely are lol) you could just lable me a dreamer. BUT if i'm right you can call me KING SWFTBALLZ RULER OF THE FORUMS. lmao lol

Honda will not make anew quad, there new sport quad with have the motor mounted sideways and drum brakes up front. But it will be a onda

As you can see, I am a loyal Honda guy, but this year is their last chance! They are going to have to wow me big time, or I am jumping ship!! I already jumped to the Z400, and love the bike. One more year, and I am gone completely (at least as far as sport bikes go)!

From the number of yellow bikes I am seeing out on the trail, my guess is that the Z is hitting both 400EX and Raptor sales pretty bad around here. Better power than the EX, and better price than the Raptor.

 

Just get another quad! I want to be able to get the new Honda when its out and I dont want to wait in line!
The 450 has already been ridden by 4 pro riders for R&D. I think Roll Designs knows alot about the quad also. All they tell me is its a 450 with an aluminum frame.

 

I'm a Honda fan but they have to put up. If they don't give me a 450 that is comparable to the YFZ then I'm buying a YFZ next year. Brand loyalty is one thing but customer loyalty is another. Honda makes tons of money off of us guys so there is no excuse why they can't give the customer what they want.

 

Looks like the 450 will be here in September! CT will be getting one soon to test ride. They rode the Yammie way before the press had it!

 

The 450 would be my second choice. I want an XR650 engine. That thing is indestructible.

but remember last year.....EVERYONE thought they were comin out w/ the 450 in the Sept. show, but we're still waiting, i think Honda is dead[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img], and Yamaha has the 450 caliber gun it took to kill 'em LOL
