300EX'S top out in the mid 20's or lower 30's if you really push it

 

Minkus i'm not sure if you witnessed a riding lawnmower with 300ex stickers ride by you but a 300ex will go much faster than 30mph

 

no im positive it was a 300ex a kid down the street has one and I have a radar gun and i clocked him at 31 mph 5th gear wide open for about 3/4 of a mile. The kid only weighed 110 lbs and he was 13, he also just got it serviced a week before and has a k & n air filter and cobra pipe! I dont think it will do anywhere near 50 no way, that thing would shake itself at 50...but hey what can you ask for its a honda.

Time to get that radar gun fixed! I've never heard of a quad shaking itself apart, unless its a 2stroke bike motor in a quad frame. Oh am i bad, or if you let you're bearings go to the point of ignorance. Then maybe a quad going 50mph would shake itself apart. And just what is you're ride Minkus?

 

The 300ex will do low 50's. My wife maxed her's out while following me on my Predator (I was widening the gap, of course) and she was going way more than 30! We were being followed by my son on a Sportsman 90 which maxes out at about 25 to 30mph and he was WAY back before we stopped to wait.

Minkus, i find it hard to believe that a 300ex with a pipe, and in good running condition would go 30mph wide open, are you sure that the 300ex wasnt pulling a log?

You are entitled to you're opinion minkus, but don't try to pass it off as a fact. Pechmial and XXxxYFZ450xxXX both own 300ex's and agree that it goes much faster than 30mph. I'd say that our opinions are be backed by some facts. We all have witnessed a 300ex going well over 30MPH. Minkus, you're not the kid that was on here yesterday with the blaster start'n trouble? are you?
