Default 2003 400EX

Hey im pretty new to this forum and im going to be buying a new quad soon. I found a 2003 400EX with mods for $4000. The mods on it are: Renthal bars, Shock covers, DG chrome front bumper, dg chrome grab bar, dg chrome nerf bars, Renthal grips, Uni filter, Hinson clutch,Pro Circuit T4 muffler, and a Pro Circuit header nad it has a jet kit too...Does this sound like a good deal?? I thinkim going to buy it..getting bored with my quadsport...$4000. Quad is in good shape nothing wrong..never wrecked starts first time...garage kept and it runs really well.. It also has ITP tires and Douglas alluminum wheels.

Go down to the Honda dealer with $4k and you may walk out with a brand new one, they are discounting the 400ex really hard. I talked to a dealer and said I would give him $3500 for one expecting to get laughed at. He said he may be able to get close to that...

Yeah 4000 for a new one..but by the time i buy all the mods that this 400EX has it will be a lot of money..like around 6grand..
By the way this is SuzukliManlt230 new s/n
Im getting a 400EX for sure..not sure about new or used..maybe ill try that at a dealer though...id pay 3500 for a brand new one and save up a little more money and mod it up slowly..

I paid $4,700 OTD for a 2003 400ex but I would take that modded one for $4,000 instead. You can tell how hard it has been beat by looking at the plastics, the tires, checking all the bearings, does it still have the stock chain (no master link), how are the sprockets, etc.
