where can i find one of these 396 kits for a 300? A few links would be great if you can.

 

the 396 kit, huh..really hard to find..you have to buy them from an engine builder..im going to be buying a quad with the 396 kit pretty soon and from what Ive been told from thw owner adding the 396 kit improves torque and acceleration by a lot and as for the top speed it makes it run around the same speed as the 400EX..go to www.denniskirk.com and order 1.0 bore pistons and the gasket oil rings seals and everything else you need and make sure they are all for a 1.0 bore..As for some of the mods..like the exhaust the on im buying has a White Brother E-Series Pro-Meg exhaust system..that adds 7 hp..And the gearing is geared higher as well..has a jet kit..and a Uni Filter..As for the suspension mods you should get everything else you want on it before the suspension..the suspension is actually better than what you think on the 300EX...just not as good as a 400EX...IMO

 

Let Me Clear This One Thing up though: It Doesn't Matter How Much HP or Torque you add, the only that increases top speed by a significant amount is gearing, sorry had to do that.
I figured The Kit was harder to get ahold of that i thought, just wanted to ask, i was planning on doing everything else before suspension, i actually like the way the suspension on my 300 rides, ALOT. i just want more travel, so it way down the line, if i even do it, ill probably just by a 400 by then, or i might be a taitor and buy a YZ426.......maybe.
