get at least a 400, if nothing else you'll grow into it. Nothin against the 300, I love mine, but you will be eventually wanting more power.

Haha, naw your not an idiot, they are nice bikes. I sorta wish I would of just bought something bigger in the first place, but it is nice having a second bike to ride for something different, or for other people to screw around on.

don't get me wrong i still LOVE my 300, but as once said "there's nothing more addictive than speed" and not the drug, ill always want more speed so i guess ill just have to live with it. yeah someday ill have the cash to buy something new (maybe in the next year or 2) and ill let my g/f ride my 300, she thinks its fast, so ill leave her at that.

well think about where you ride and think if you'll need the 300ex's reverse or not

umm in my opinion, unless you are going to be riding sand dunes or on back roads get a 300EX you can ride trails and woods with no prob plus if you want more power screw the boreing out the cylanders crap and simply put a new air filter in it and a pipe and mabey a differnt sprocket. there you just got a crap load of power for like 400$ plus you will be able to smoke a 400EX in the woods. As much as I love 300s, those would have to be some TIGHT woods for that to ever happen.
